The Nikon Learn and Explore app for the iPhone has arrived on the UK's App Store, allowing users to brush up on their digital photography skills.

Nikon's instructional app is presented through a variety of media, including video presentations, podcast-type lectures and informative slideshows.

The Learn and Explore app is free to download and lets users expand their understanding of photography, covering topics for beginners as well as techniques for advanced users.

Nikon has created a number of different mini-courses for its tool, with the intention of keeping you on top photographic form in any situation.

For example, one area allows users to read advice on how to capture perfect holiday snaps.

The app also offers access to Nikon's official magazine, which is full of even more camera-related content written by industry professionals.
