LG is still considering whether to launch its micro-sized LG Mini GD880 in the UK, it has been revealed.

The South Korean tech disclosed its plans in an interview with Pocket Lint, in which a representative said that although the phone will definitely go on sale in Europe and Asia it has not yet been decided whether to make the handset available in the UK.

The LG Mini is dinky smartphone with an emphasis on internet access and LG has promised that its browser will be compatible with HTML 5 in order to open up a world of next-gen content online.

LG's Phantom Browser is another a major asset of the GD880, with support for advanced video streaming and live email updates.

Integrated Wi-Fi and assisted GPS are also welcome inclusions, as is HSDPA connectivity for downloads of up to 7.2Mbps.

The LG Mini will sport a five megapixel camera on the back and its styling incorporates a lot of brushed aluminium that makes it look rather like a slimmed-down HTC Legend.

Ppl would buy this one in the UK - no doubt about that. LG seems to think that the UK only wants it mid-range touchscreen phones. But the reason they do so well is because they're the only ones that get released.
