The Samsung Galaxy S Pro Android phone looks likely to sport a full, physical QWERTY keypad for easy text entry.
The other technical specifications of the Galaxy S Pro will stay exactly the same as the standard model.
That means it will have a four inch screen, Android version 2.1 and a 1GHz processor supplemented by a separate chip for handling graphics, according to Italian phone site HD Blog.
At the moment the 'Pro' tag is only the working title assumed by speculators. Samsung is unlikely to stick with it when it gets a commercial release, as rival Sony Ericsson is known for adding 'Pro' to its QWERTY additions, such as the Vivaz Pro.
Samsung's new handset is set for an official UK launch in the summer.
