The BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9105 is available to pre-order now on Orange on a host of contract options.

The handset, which is the smallest-ever model in the BlackBerry range and eschews a physical QWERTY keyboard in favour of a more traditional numeric keypad, is free on monthly contracts from £30 per month.

Also available are deals that bundle the mobile with free gifts, with everything from a Nintendo Wii to a Lenovo laptop up for grabs.

Standout features of the Pearl 3G 9105 include push email support to make messaging on the go more efficient and BlackBerry Maps mapping software pre-installed.

The handset also offers 3G connectivity for a fast mobile internet and a document editor so that users can take care of important business while on the move.

Elsewhere, manufacturer Research in Motion (RIM) has provided a media player, a 3.5mm headphone jack, voice memo and a 3.15 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash.
