Camera manufacturer Altek has unveiled the exciting new Android-based smartphone the Leo boasting an impressive 14 megapixel camera, which will be a world first when it arrives.
The Altek Leo will have an LED video light to help it when recording high definition clips in poorly lit environments and will also boast a coveted Xenon flash to make stills brighter and clearer no matter where users are.
The 14 megapixel camera looks to have a full optical zoom function and an extendable lens, which means that it will perform rather more as a standalone camera than simply a smartphone feature. However, with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity on-board, it is very much a member of the smartphone family.
The look of the keys on the front of the Leo suggests that it will use Android, according to GSM Arena, although this has not been confirmed by Altek.
Altek says that it will be revealing considerably more about the Leo in the next few months and hopes are high that this smartphone will make it to the UK.
