Smartphone fans can pick up the media focussed Vivaz Pro for free from £30 per month when they sign up for a two year contract with O2.
Sony Ericsson’s latest addition to the burgeoning Vivaz range differs from its predecessor principally through the inclusion of a handy QWERTY keyboard for fast text entry.
Other standout features include a five megapixel camera, with touch-focus, face and smile detection and video recording in rich high definition at 720p at 24fps.
The Vivaz Pro also offers a media player with Sony Ericsson’s patented MegaBass sound enhancement and a web browser for on the go entertainment, built-in Google Maps and integrated social networking functionality.
Released late last year, the original Sony Ericsson Vivaz was pitched as a high-end cameraphone and features an 8.1 megapixel camera as well as the same impressive video recording capabilities as the handset’s new iteration.
