Sony Ericsson has launched a dance contest that sets out to find the person with the world's fleetest fingers.

To participate in the Battle Fingers dance-off, users will need to record a one minute video of themselves cutting a rug using their fingers and upload it to Sony Ericsson's YouTube account.

Those the public deems the best of the bunch will bag themselves a cameo in a music video for Tha Breakadelics and a VIP trip to the B-Boy Championships in the capital.

Sony Ericsson's competition is designed to promote the new Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro.

Lennard Hoornick of Sony Ericsson said: "The Xperia X10 Mini and Xperia X10 Mini Pro were designed with the ultimate human interface in mind, from the intuitive touchscreen allowing users to navigate with only one hand, to the ergonomic human curvature design.

"Fingers can't help but dance on the phone – and we want to share this feeling across the world."
