Google is looking to pull the mobile and desktop web search experience closer together with its Search History service, which allows mobile users to access previous search terms on both platforms.

As long as you have a Google account with the Save Searches feature enabled, you'll be able to check up on recent searches, whether you are online using your mobile or on at home your PC.

The service will even differentiate between the different types of searches using icon, so you can track which medium you were using at the time.

Google will allow you to harness its starring system from your mobile, so search results which you have found useful can be collected in a folder and then accessed on your mobile phone, according to T3.

Trials of the service will initially take place in the US.
