LG is ramping up its commitment to Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform with yet another smartphone based on the operating system, this time known in leaked documents as the GW910.

The GW910 looks to be the latest version of the LG Panther which emerged three months ago and it has a large touchscreen display supplemented with a full QWERTY keypad which is housed beneath the slider-style setup.

Although little is known about the GW910, it seems as though LG will be boasting an impressive web browsing experience when it is launched; a YouTube video shows the new Windows Phone 7 platform handling sites well.

Six different tabs can be maintained simultaneously on an early build of the mobile Internet Explorer, although integration of Flash and HTML5 support has not been completed.

Microsoft is under a lot of pressure to make Windows Phone 7 work, as repeated disappointments with previous versions of its mobile operating system have left fans disgruntled. Only the promise of a complete revolution is maintaining hope.
