Nokia holds Twitter Q&A

Nokia's head of marketing fielded questions from users of social networking site Twitter today in a bid to address any queries, concerns or suggestions that they might have about the firm.

Niklas Savander formulated responses using his @NiklasatNokia account and the Finnish mobile manufacturer used its official blog to invite anyone to join in the debate.

Nokia set out precisely the manner of what Mr Savander would be willing to discuss as it announced the event.

"In addition to responding to questions, Niklas will share his views on the state of the mobile industry, the company's most recent mobile devices, Nokia's services strategy, operating system choices and much more," the company promised.

Mr Savander has frequently acted as the public face of Nokia over the last couple of years and so it can be safely assumed that it really was him responding via Twitter and not just a lackey tasked with taking questions.
