nokia n8 trio

The Nokia N8’s official pricing details were announced only recently and a price war is already in motion as Tesco Mobile has decided to offer the handset for £100 less than Nokia’s own online store.

Last week we revealed that the N8 would go on sale on the Nokia Online store for £439 as a SIM free option. Now customers who head to the Tesco Direct website will find the handset on sale for a bargain price of £329.

The only catch is that the handset will be locked to Tesco’s network, but with no contract attached, users should be able to unlock the handset and use any SIM they want.

As of writing, the handset is already out of stock. But keep your eyes peeled, as Tesco is bound to resupply to meet demand.

The N8 sports an impressive array of features that include a 3.5-inch AMOLED screen and a 12-megapixel camera complete with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and HD video recording. It is expected to reach shops nationwide on the first week of October.
