Supermarket chain Tesco has announced that it will be offering the Nokia N8 for free on a two-year contract starting at £25 a month.

In a move that is sure to irk rival operators and high-street vendors, Tesco has decided to shake things up by giving customers the chance to pick up Nokia’s latest flagship smartphone for a low-price of £25 per month.

The deal includes 750 call minutes to any network, unlimited texts, unlimited data and more importantly, 1000 Clubcard points. Every little helps, after all!

That said, the offer only lasts until midnight on October 21st, so if you’re going to take it up, do so quickly before it turns into a pumpkin, which Tesco also sells.

The Nokia N8 was unveiled at the Nokia World expo last month. It is the first-ever handset to run the Symbian^3 operating system and packs an impressive 12-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash and HD video recording capabilities.
