The Samsung Galaxy S is being promoted by Japanese network DoComo with a bonkers ad featuring the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.

The clip shows everyone’s favourite gimp-like anti-hero seemingly stalking cutesy girls, following a pace behind them wherever they go presumably until that restraining order finally comes through.
He also goes raving in a nightclub, but alas he doesn’t cut a rug to the Cantina band theme, and takes in a scenic boat ride.
Quite what it’s all in aid of, we’re not sure. To be perfectly honest, the ad makes very, very little sense. But, hey, it’s fun. And that’s enough for me.
