O2 is calling time on its BlackBerry Curve 8520 £50 voucher promotion at the end of the month, it has been confirmed.
Under the terms of the limited period promotion, all customers who snap up a Curve 8520 on an O2 pay monthly contract get a free phone and the token – which is accepted in Miss Selfridge, Marks & Spencer and all your high street favourites - completely gratis.
Featuring rounded edges that are the hallmark of the Curve range of BlackBerrys, the 8520 is also home to a physical QWERTY keyboard and the email solution for which Research in Motion’s handsets are justly famed.
Also onboard is the BlackBerry Messenger app for easy instant messaging, a two megapixel camera with zoom and video recording, a trackpad and a media player.
As with all BlackBerrys, buyers also get to choose from a range of thousands of free and paid-for apps available for download from the App Market.
Contract plans for the black and O2 exclusive purple edition of the handset Curve 8520 start at £30.63 per month.
