Fruit Ninja has hit the Ovi Store, giving Nokia N8 and C7 users a chance to grab a slice of one of last year’s casual gaming sensations.

Available to download now for £1, the title challenges players to chop up fruit into tiny pieces by swiping their fingers across the screen in a slashing motion.
There are three game modes to choose from, namely Classic, Arcade and Zen, which introduce time limits and booby-trapped bombs and the like, but are otherwise pretty much identical.
Quite what the game has got to do with the honourless assassins of feudal Japan is beyond us. But that’s not stopped it becoming one of the defining iPhone games titles so far.
