A new handset from HTC has slipped online on Android and iOS-benchmarking site NenaMark Benchmark.

Codenamed HTC Vigor, the hitherto unseen handset will sport a 1.5GHz processor with a Qualcomm Adreno 220 GPU and display resolution of 1280x720 of unspecified screen size.

The brand detail of the particular model tested reveals that it is headed to the Verizon network stateside, so it’s unclear if we’ll ever see it released outside the US. However, leaks have suggested that HTC may be working on at least two other handsets powered by a 1.5GHz processor, codenamed Eternity and Scorpion. So it’s possible the Vigor is a region or carrier-specific version of one of those phones.

Whether the processor will be single core or a dual core number remains unclear, as smartphone manufacturers increasingly look to multi-core processors to stand out from the competition.
