T-Mobile has cut the price of owning a high-end Android phone, as part of a limited-period promotion.
Until July 31st, all customers who sign up for a 24-month contract on the Samsung Galaxy S at £25.54 per month will get the phone absolutely free.
The contract is ordinarily priced £30 per month and includes an upfront fee – spelling total savings of £122.
The Motorola Atrix is also now free in the same promotion and comes with the same SMS, calls and mobile data allowances, but the monthly tariff has been reduced from £35 to £25.54 per month. That's an even bigger saving of £245.
Both the Atrix and Galaxy S deals entitle takers to 600 minutes and 500 texts every month, plus unlimited mobile data use to allow them to make the most of their handset’s web smarts.
Features of the ten million-selling Galaxy S include a four-inch Super AMOLED screen, five-megapixel camera and a choice of tens of thousands of apps from the Android Market.
The Atrix stands out for its eight-megapixel camera, secondary snapper for video calls, high-res qHD pentile display and a choice of smart peripherals, such as a keyboard dock that enables you to use it as a de facto laptop.
