Carphone Warehouse has started taking pre-orders for the BlackBerry Curve 9360.
The retailer’s page lists a price of £329.95 for the handset when bought SIM free and sans contract. Order now and Carphone pledges to deliver from September 19th.
For what sort of outlay, you’re getting a handset powered by Research in Motion’s (RIM) all-new BlackBerry 7 operating system. That means it offers 40 per cent faster browsing than kits running BB6, plus smoother graphics, better social networking smarts and a more responsive touchscreen.

And this being a BlackBerry, you’ll also get unfettered use of the upgraded BlackBerry Messenger instant messaging service-cum-insurrection tool and RIM’s watertight email security solution.
Rounding off the package is a none-more-RIM QWERTY keyboard and 2.5-inch screen combo, as well as a five megapixel snapper and Near Field Communication (NFC) tech to allow users to pay for goods and services by swiping their handset over a reader.
Carriers so far confirmed as on board in the UK when the phones hits contract deals are Three, O2 and Vodafone.
