The BlackBerry Torch 9800 and Bold 9780 are currently on offer for a cut price on O2, in the network’s latest flash sale.

Until Monday September 12th, both phones are free when customers sign up online for a two-year contract at £16.50 per month. Both will get you 50 any network, anytime minutes, 250 texts and 500MB of data per month.

The touch and type Torch combines a slide-out physical QWERTY keyboard for speedy mailing and messaging with a 3.2-inch TFT touchscreen for the fun stuff.

It’s also home to a five-megapixel camera, a none-more-BlackBerry optical trackpad, expandable memory of up to 32GB via microSD card support and unfettered access to services such as BlackBerry Messenger and Research In Motion’s peerless, super secure email solution.

Choose the Bold 9780 and you’ll get a more traditional BlackBerry phone that shuns a touchscreen in favour of the time-honoured optical trackpad and front facing keyboard combo.

Like the Torch, the current-generation Bold also offers expandable memory of 32GB, a five-megapixel camera and all the RIM services you can shake a stick at.
