Samsung Galaxy S2 price cut on Three

Three is offering the Samsung Galaxy S2 for a reduced price for a limited-period, as part of a blink-and-you’ll-miss offer along the lines of O2’s recent flash sales.

With the end of the third quarter fast approaching, networks seem to be cutting prices across the board – presumably as they bid to meet targets for the period. And now it’s Three’s turn to get in on the act, it seems.

Under the terms of the offer, customers who sign up for a £27 per month contract over two years before October 30th will get the S2 in white or black completely free. Previously, the same tariff with a free phone was £30 per month, spelling a saving of £70-odd over the course of the contract.

For your outlay, you’re getting 500 minutes per month, 5,000 texts and – here’s the beef - a handy 1GB of mobile data per month.

By common consent among the best Android phones so far, the five million-plus-selling Galaxy S2 rocks a brawny dual core processor and the 2.3 (Gingerbread) version of Android out of the box for a smartphone experience with real snap about it.

It’s also home to an eight-megapixel camera with HD video recording and the hallmark of flagship phones in Sammy’s Galaxy range - a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display.
