Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is now available on Vodafone, bringing faster processing capabilities and 3D photography to the masses.

Punters can snap up the Arc S right now on a range of Voda’s pay monthly contracts, with free-phone deals starting at £31 per month on a two-year contract.
This entitles takers to monthly allowances of 600 minutes, 500MB data and unlimited texts, plus 2GB web access at BT Openzone Wi-Fi hotspots across the country.

The Arc S, in case you’ve been hibernating, is an upgraded version of the original Xperia Arc that launched back in April. This time around, it features a brawny 1.4GHz processor – 20 per cent faster than its predecessor – and a new 3D panorama mode that allows you to take widescreen snaps that can be viewed in 3D on a compatible TV.

The rest of the device remains unchanged, meaning you’re in for a 4.2-inch Reality Display touchscreen with Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA Engine tech, an eight-megapixel camera with Exmor R sensor and the same curvaceous design that won tech hearts with the Arc. It also runs the latest Gingerbread edition of Android out of the box.
