O2 has confirmed the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will launch as planned on November 17th, despite reports that it may ship next month instead.
The network revealed via its official Google+ page that it will range the hotly awaited threequel this Thursday as promised, after rumours begun doing the rounds it might miss its due date following a change in ETA on Amazon to early December.

O2 posted a photo of the Galaxy Nexus to mark the launch of its Google+ page and, following a flurry of queries from anxious punters, said: “Yes we'll be on sale on the 17th."
Meanwhile, high street retailer Phones 4U has also confirmed to us that the Galaxy Nexus will begin shipping to customers a day early on November 16th, quashing any lingering doubts of a delay.
Debuting as the first handset to market with the latest, tastiest Ice Cream Sandwich iteration of the Android operating system, the Galaxy Nexus is home to a wide array of improvements over its predecessor, the Nexus S.
Standout features include a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display, a 1.2GHz dual core processor, a five-megapixel camera and 16GB of on board memory.
