Would-be Nokia Lumia 800 owners can pre-order the Finns Windows 7.5-powered phone now on Three, ahead of its UK release on November 16th.
Three is offering the handset for free starting at £30 per month over 24 months on its Text 500 plan. That entitles you to 1GB of mobile internet, 5,000 texts and 500 call minutes per month.
Choose the network’s One Plan and you’re looking at all you can eat data, plus monthly allowances of 5,000 texts and 2,000 minutes for £37 per month.
Deemed something of a make or break phone for Nokia as it bids to recover its status in the smartphone market, the Lumia 800 teams Microsoft’s live tile-based user interface with some exclusive Nokia services focussed on navigation, music and sports.
The handset also packs in an eight megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 1.4GHz processor for keeping everything running tickety-boo and a radical look with a polycarbonate unibody construction and no front-facing physical buttons.
