Comprehensive specs for the HTC Ville have surfaced online, ahead of the phone’s likely unveiling at next month’s Mobile World Congress (MWC).

According to Chinese website ePrice, which unearthed images and a full spec sheet for the handset, the Ville will pack a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display. That’s the same pin-sharp screen tech that helped make the Samsung Galaxy S2 the tech Bobby Dazzler that it is.

A 1.5GHz processor of the dual-core variety is also on board, as is an eight-megapixel snapper with HD video recording and a secondary three-megapixel camera for video calls.

Rounding off the package is Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, overlaid with HTC’s Sense custom user interface and Beats by Dre audio smarts – all nestling in a package that comes in at an impressively skinny 8mm-thick.

The Ville is expected to launch alongside the Edge – a handset widely tipped to be the Taiwanese gadget-maker’s first-ever quad-core smartphone.
