Samsung Galaxy Note 2 flat slanted

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 Mini will be available in a fresh set of colour options next year, as Sammy follows Nokia’s lead in re-embracing some brighter hues for its smartphones.

According to the trustworthy sorts at SamMobile, the Note 2 is coming our way in (brace yourself for those airy colour descriptions that marketing sorts favour) Amber Brown, Topaz Blue and Ruby Wine early next year.

The S3 Mini, meanwhile, will come in Garnet Red, Titan Gray and Onyx Black, as well as the standard Pebble Blue and Marble White editions that are nestling on shop shelves now.

It’s thought that the fresh colours will land in February at the tech talking shop and new product bonanza that is the Mobile World Congress.

Samsung previously used as the Barcelona event as the launchpad of the Galaxy S and S2, before shifting to a showcase of its own this year for the Galaxy S3 as it became the smartphone sector’s most viable competitor to Apple.
