The latest addition to the Nexus range of vanilla Android-toting smartphones has gone on sale on Three on the One Plan.

Three is offering the phone for £35 per month, plus a one-off charge of £29, on its top-end tariff. That gets you 2,000 minutes, 5,000 Three-to-Three minutes and 5,000 texts per month, as well as unlimited monthly data.

Manufactured by LG on Google’s behalf, the fourth phone in the Nexus line’s feature set takes in a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with a 720p resolution, a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and an eight-megapixel camera with HD video recording.

It’s also home to the latest 4.2 Jelly Bean version of Android, complete with NFC support for swapping content and paying for goods and services with your handset.

The phone has been intermittently up for grabs at the Google Play store for weeks, with new stock selling out almost as soon as it arrives.
