The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has been tentatively priced for Europe, ahead of its expected debut at next month’s Mobile World Congress (MWC).

According to sources cited by mobilegeeks.de, Samsung’s next tablet contender will sell for 390 Euros when bought off-contract and SIM-free. That ought to equate to about £335 when it goes on sale in Blighty.

Already tipped as a show-stealer at MWC and the subject of some high-profile leaks, the Note 8.0’s spec sheet purportedly takes in an eight-inch 1280 x 800 screen, support for Samsung’s S-Pen stylus and a 1.6GHz quad core processor.

Powered by Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box, it's is also expected to offer 16GB of onboard storage, as well as a five-megapixel rear-mounted camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing snapper.

Samsung’s MWC line-up is also thought to include a new addition to the Tab range of slates, confounding expectations that the brand would be completely replaced by the more successful Note nomenclature that was previously reserved for phablets.
