A mystery Samsung device that may or may not be the hotly anticipated Galaxy S4 has been uncovered in the phone-maker’s official website.
A User Agent Profile (UAProf) for the hitherto unknown Samsung ‘SGH-I337’ was spotted by a keen-eyedJapanese blogger at Samsung’s mobile-optimised site, which web geeks among you will have read as ‘Leet’ (a derivation of Elite, if you didn’t), though that’s even not the most interesting part.
The UAProf reveals that the SGH-I337 packs a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 – aka 1080p HD – which, given growing chatter about the Galaxy S4 in recent weeks, makes its discoverer, and us, think that it may just be the real deal - possibly a US variant for AT&T.
While rumours are dime a dozen, features that the S4 has been consistently mooted to be on board includes a larger 4.99-inch screen, along with an Exynos 5 Octa processor, a 13-megapixel camera and wireless charging capabilities.
Last week it was claimed the S4 could be announced as early as March 22nd and launch worldwide in mid-April.
