An image purporting to show the Samsung Galaxy S4 has surfaced online, as all eyes turn to the smartphone-maker ahead of the expos that could see the unveiling of the fourth-generation kit.
Sourced by the usually very reliable Sam Mobile, the snap depicts a handset that appears to differ very little from the S3, but which dispenses with a physical home button and features an all-onscreen button user interface instead.
A thinner bezel also suggests that the handset will feature a wider/larger screen, in keeping with Samsung’s form of adding more display inches to its flagship phones with every new generation.
The photo’s appearance comes amid speculation – some would say decidedly unlikely speculation - that Samsung could unveil the S4 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas later this month.
Specs for the handset are complete conjecture right now. But they are expected to include an Exynos 5450 Quad-Core CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED FULL HD resolution (1080×1920) display and a 13-megapixel camera.
It’s also likely to run Android 4.2.1 out of the box and pack a secondary two-megapixel snapper for video calls.
