HTC One black and silver official (generic)

The HTC One is finally up for grabs in the UK, after parts shortages forced the phone-maker to delay its release.

Online retailer Dialaphone.co.uk is offering the HTC One on a range of contract options from T-Mobile, partner carrier Orange and Vodafone.

Perhaps the pick of these offers the handset for free when customers sign up for the One on a two-year contract with Orange at £36 per month.

This includes monthly allowances of 600 minutes, 1GB of data and unlimited text messages per month, as well as sweeteners in the form of a choice of Orange’s Swapables add-ons.

Perceived as a do-or-die device for beleaguered HTC, the Android 4.2-powered One’s spec sheet takes in what the company dubs an 'Ultrapixel' camera, a 4.7-inch full HD display and a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor.
