Tantalising details of the Samsung Galaxy S4 have appeared online, as the eyes of the tech world look New York-wards ahead of the handset’s official unveiling on March 14th.

What we’re assured is leaked marketing material for the handset, which was sourced by the usually pretty reliable Twitter user @evleaks, appears to confirm that the Galaxy S4 will pack a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED full HD touch screen.

That broadly chimes with rumours that have been doing the rounds online for months suggesting that the S4 will further blur the lines between tablets and smartphones.

However, that’s not to say that the device will be much bigger than the Galaxy S3 necessarily. Close examination of the photos sitting alongside the specs suggest that Samsung has accommodated the larger screen by trimming the bezel around the screen to the bare minimum and dispensing with front-facing physical buttons entirely.

A 13-megapixel rear-facing camera is also on board the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean-powered handset, the graphic suggests, which will seemingly come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage variants.

Unfortunately, there’s no mention of the processor that’s on board, which means we’re still in the dark as to whether it’ll be powered by Samsung’s next-gen octa-core processor. Or, if as some claim, Samsung will opt for a decidedly less impressive quad-core number from Qualcomm.

Of course, specs only tell part of the story, though. What promises to really differentiate the S4 from the competition are the user interface tweaks that Samsung is rumoured to be bringing to the table.

This time around these are thought to include eye motion-sensitive controls that would enable users to scroll through pages and pause movies by moving their eyes alone and wireless charging.
