Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4u stores

Phones 4u and Carphone Warehouse have joined the pre-order party for Samsung’s first flagship smartphone of 2013, ranging the handset on a host of contract deals from major networks.

Phones 4u is currently taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S4 on free-phone contracts with EE and Orange at £41 a month and with Vodafone for £42 a month.

As an added incentive for choosing a 4G price plan from EE, the retailer is also offering customers up to £100 to spend on downloadable content from the Google Play store.

Buyers also get a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Android tablet and a Galaxy Camera by reserving their handsets by April 25th.

Carphone Warehouse, meanwhile, is offering the Galaxy S4 free from £35 a month on Three, £41 a month on T-Mobile, £42 on O2 and £46 on EE on two-year terms.

Additionally, the retailer is throwing in a free accessories bundle worth £79.96 for pay monthly subscribers.

Announced this month, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is a technological powerhouse, featuring a five-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.9GHz quad-core processor and a 13-megapixel.

It also brings a deluge of excellent software features, such as Smart Pause that uses eye-tracking technology to automatically pause videos when you’re not watching, and Air Wave that lets you simply wave your hand over the screen to scroll web pages and more.

Both Phones 4u and Carphone Warehouse expect to fulfill pre-orders on April 26th.
