Nokia has pulled off a gaming coup, convincing EA to give it exclusive rights to the Windows Phone version of FIFA 13.

The move means that only Nokia Lumia users will be able to play the Windows Phone edition of the superbly realised football sim.

Samsung and HTC Windows Phone users will doubtless be less than pleased.

The game itself serves up improved graphics and tweaked controls to ensure you can get players to do what you want despite only having a touchscreen at your fingertips.

It’s also Xbox Live ready, which means you’ll also be able to share Achievements and improve your gamer score despite the fact you’re not playing it on an Xbox 360.

Nokia is expected to reveal its next-generation Lumia 909 camera phone at a special event in New York on July 11th.
