O2 has cut the cost of the Samsung Galaxy S4 until August 7th, as part of its latest time-limited flash sale.

From today, O2 is waiving the standard £49.99 upfront charge when customers sign up for the 16GB version of the Galaxy S4 in any colour on a two-year contract at £32 per month.

This includes allowances of 750MB and 600 anytime any-network minutes per month, as well as unlimited texts.

Samsung’s flagship phone for 2013 recently passed the 20 million sales mark some two months after launch, seeminly rebuffing claims that it had underperformed in the light of Samsung’s massive marketing spend.

As with the Galaxy S3, the phone is largely being sold on Samsung’s very bespoke take on Android, which includes everything from the proprietary wellbeing monitor S-Health to the handy tilt-to-scroll function.

Running Android 4.2 out of the box, the Galaxy S4’s spec sheet also takes in a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, two-megapixel camera and camera app, the S-Tranlate live speech translator and a five-inch, none-more-Samsung HD AMOLED screen with PPI of 441.
