Apple has sent out invites to media for its iPhone 5S launch event. As expected, the unveiling will take place on September 10th, at the company’s campus in Cupertino, California.
The colourful invite comes with the message, ‘This should brighten everyone’s day’.
That suggests that Apple is indeed working on multi-coloured iPhones, as seen in a slew of rumours about both the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in recent weeks.
Latest gossip, obtained exclusively by Uswitch Tech, also suggests that Apple is not planning on releasing a black version of its new iPhones. This would be a first for a company renowned for its monochrome designs in recent years.
The event is due to start at 10am Pacific Time, 6pm here in London. For the first time ever, Apple is holding a separate event in China on the following day.
The September 11th gathering, which is due to take place at Beijing’s World Trade Center, shows just how important the success of the budget iPhone 5C will be in the world’s fastest growing smartphone market.
