The iPhone 5s is finally on sale on Three, after the network shunned the chance to take pre-orders for the handset.
Three is offering the iPhone 5s 16GB edition from £37 per month (plus an upfront fee of £99) over a 24-month deal. Allowances here are 500 anytime, any-network minutes and 5,000 texts per month, as well as all-you-can-eat data.
If you want the phone for free, however, you’re looking at monthly outlay of £52 per month, also over a two-year contract term.
Monthly usage limits here are 2,000 any-network minutes, 5,000 Three-to-Three minutes and 5,000 texts. Data usage is unlimited.
Before you commit, though, it’s worth noting that Three’s 4G service isn’t going to be up and running until December.
What you’re signing up to, then, is a 4G-ready plan, with the carrier providing a 3G service in the interim.
On the plus side – and this really is a major plus – Three has pledged to switch customers who buy the iPhone 5s now on to its 4G network at no extra cost when it goes live.
