BlackBerry has had little to cheer in recent weeks. However, its new version of its BB10 software, BB 10.2, has just begun rolling out, bringing with it at least some cause for celebration along with a heap of new features.
Z10, Q5 and Q10 owners can now use a neat Priority Hub feature to get messages and information from key contacts, with the updated OS capable of learning which people they speak to most and placing their conversations in this new area.
There are now instant previews of texts, emails and BBMs in every app too, so you can check out and reply to missives no matter what you’re doing. The keyboard has also been tweaked to be more accurate and offer improved suggestions for next words, while copy and paste has been made more accurate.
Social media sharing is easier as well, with one-button access to the biggest services. And thankfully, lock screen notifications have also been included too.
Users will received an update alert in their notifications section when BB 10.2 is available. The Canadian company has already started the rollout, so the wait shouldn’t be too long.
