More images of the Google Nexus 5 are doing the rounds online, as fans of unadorned, vanilla Android count down to its anticipated launch early next month.

Initially sourced by Chinese site Vr-Zone and aired to the wider world by GSM Insider, the images purportedly come from folks responsible for certifying the handset for sale in Taiwan.

Apart from giving us a thorough look at the phone inside and out, the snaps don’t actually tell us much that's new. But they do confirm that it will be home to a 2,300 mAh battery and that, according to the accompanying report, this will not be removable.

Previous leaks around the handset, and it's fair to say there have been a fair few revealed that its spec sheet will also take in a more expansive 4.95-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

As with previous Nexus smartphones, the Nexus 5 will also debut an all-new version of Android. In this case, it’s Android 4.4, aka KitKat.

Sources cited by EvLeaks indicate the handset, which was initially expected to drop earlier this month, will now tip up on November 1st.
