ipad 5 video leak

The iPad 5 isn’t due to get the official nod until October 22nd. But renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, a man known for getting his predictions about the Cupertino company spot-on, is already talking about 2014’s iPad 6.

Specifically, the professional Apple-watcher claims that the next–generation model will have a significantly better screen. He says that next year’s model will offer 30-40% more pixels per inch (ppi), pushing the display way beyond the forthcoming iPad 5.

Kuo says Apple will be able to pull off such a jump thanks to fast-paced improvements in the tech behind high-resolution displays.

Interestingly, he also claims that there won’t be a 12-inch version of the iPad released next year, countering a slew of rumours that have suggested Apple is looking to add a third form factor to its tablet line-up.

The iPad 6 is unlikely to debut before autumn 2014. But, unless you’re really keen to hold out for an eyeball-stroking ppi behemoth, you’re probably better off nabbing the new iPad 5 later this month.
