The current-gen iPhones will be up for grabs on Virgin Media in a matter of weeks, ending the lengthy spell in which the carrier did not range Apple’s smartphones.

In a terse press release in which it’s not hard to detect Apple’s ever-controlling hand, Virgin announced the iPhone 5S and its mid-range stablemate, the iPhone 5S, will go on sale on November 22nd.

Alas, at the time of writing, Virgin Media has yet to confirm prices, allowances and any sort of sweeteners it might be offering. But we expect pricing to be broadly in line with rivals.

That said, we’re especially keen to see what kind of discounts might be up for grabs for Virgin Media broadband and TV customers, who can currently mop up some not inconsiderable savings when they add mobile phone contract to the services they take from the provider.
