Samsung has officially unveiled two new sets of tablets aimed at gazumping Apple’s heavily–hyped iPad Pro. The Galaxy NotePRO and Galaxy TabPRO each come in a range of different sizes, with amped-up specs designed specifically for work.

In true Samsung fashion, little separates the 12.2-inch NotePRO and TabPRO. Each one has an impressive 2560 x 1600 pixel display, with top-end options packing in 4G connectivity.

Where they stand out from your average tablet is in the software department. Cisco’s WebEx meetings platform comes as standard, as does Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Dropbox and Evernote access. Both slates also have remote PC access.

The only key difference between the 12.2-inch models is the inclusion of a Samsung S Pen with the NotePRO.

Samsung is also priming smaller versions of its TabPRO in 10.1 and 8.4-inches. These pared-down efforts still cram in the same productivity tools and the latest Android software, not to mention eyeball-stroking Super LCD screens.

Samsung is yet to give the word on when its new tablets will hit shelves or how much they’ll cost. Expect to hear more as CES 2014 gets into full swing this week.
