LG has confirmed it will launch a new flagship device next month in the form of the highly anticipated G Pro 2 phablet.
Details of the new device remain unclear, with LG unwilling to give too much away ahead of Mobile World Congress, which takes place at the end of next month.
Last year’s G Pro came with a 5.5-inch screen, Full HD resolution and Android Jelly Bean, so expect a slightly beefed-up take on those specs.
The news comes as the company reveals downbeat financial results for the last quarter of 2013. Its mobile division posted a loss of £24 million, thanks to the Korean company's more aggressive marketing push for its handsets and tablets.
However, more positive was that sales were up, with LG shifting an impressive 13.2 million phones over the three months to December. That represents a jump of 50%.
