LG’s forthcoming G Pro 2 phablet looks set to get the same rear–mounted buttons as 2013’s LG G2. Newly leaked photos show the back of the capacious device rocking volume and power keys beneath the camera lens.
The Korean company revealed earlier this week that it would be launching the handset in February. However, it refused to divulge any details.
The inclusion of rear–mounted buttons comes as little surprise. The G2’s unique set-up garnered impressive reviews and helped make the handset feel less cluttered.
Specs–wise, the LG G Pro 2 is believed to cram in a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1080p HD smarts and a sizeable 6–inch screen, a bump up from the original G Pro, which toted a 5.5-inch effort.
While LG has yet to give a specific date in February for a launch event, chances are the phone will take a bow at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, starting on February 24th.
