The HTC One looks set to live on past March 25th, when its widely leaked successor, the imaginatively named All New HTC One, gets its official unveiling in London and New York.
New reports have suggested HTC is looking to follow the lead of Apple and Samsung by offering its previous flagship at a lower price, with the aim of bolstering flagging sales.
It’s an approach that has paid dividends for key rivals, with Apple seeing strong sales of the iPhone 4S in the past year according to analysts. That’s despite the device being released in 2011 and rocking inferior technology to today’s top–end phones.
The All New HTC One comes with a smart Duo Camera, for switching image focus after a shot is taken, as well as an improved 5–inch screen and Android 4.4 KitKat. Final, official details, will be revealed in just over a week.
