Samsung appears to be readying a pared-down version of its new Galaxy S5 flagship. That’s according to hardcore Sammy fans, who have dug up details of the new device on the tech titan’s own servers.
A recently found user agent profile, codenamed SM-G750, is being billed as the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini.
Specs include a 2.3GHz processor, older Android 4.3 software and a screen with a 1280x720 resolution. Those kind of features suggest a handset that is some way off the eyeball–stroking powerhouse that is the Galaxy S5.
While there’s been no official word of Galaxy S5 variants, Samsung has plenty of previous in this regard.
2013 saw it release a slew of Galaxy S4–based devices, including a fitness and camera–focused version. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Galaxy S5 Mini hit shelves very soon indeed.
