Apple’s much-rumoured iPad Pro appears to have starred in a new spot shot. The snap, which tipped up on China’s Weibo social network, allegedly shows a reference design for the super-sized slate.
The basic design template is apparently intended for use by case manufacturers, who'll be looking to get a rough idea of the exact dimensions of the iPad Pro ahead of its release.
This is the first time the iPad Pro has hit the headlines in two months. In March, reports surfaced that Apple was canning its plans to release a larger iPad, shifting its focus instead to other, as-yet-unreleased products.
Previous rumours have suggested the larger iPad Pro would pack a 12.9-inch, super high resolution display and an ultra thin design. The tablet is unlikely to be released in 2014,, according to analysts.
