Apple’s unreleased 5.5–inch iPhone 6 has appeared in a new video from YouTube channel TechSmartt, in which it’s compared to Samsung’s capacious Galaxy Note 3.

The dummy model of Apple's next-gen handset, widely seen across the web in the past few weeks, certainly looks larger than Samsung’s device. That’s despite the 5.5-inch iPhone's screen being 0.2 inches smaller than Sammy's phablet.

This is explained by Apple keeping the same design language as previous iPhones. That means the bezels are the same size at the top and bottom to allow space for the FaceTime camera and Touch ID home button respectively.

If the dimensions do prove correct, the iPhone 6 will be significantly taller than the Samsung Galaxy S5, making it hard to type on one–handed.

This, however, does not seem to be putting off potential users, who told analysts this week they’d be happy to pay a $100 premium for the larger phone.

Apple is expected to release the iPhone 6, in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch variants, in the autumn.
