Apple is ready to slap the larger, 5.5–inch iPhone 6 with a $100 premium over the planned 4.7–inch model. That’s according to analyst Tavis McCourt, who makes the claim in a new research note.
However, McCourt reckons that Apple’s plans won’t stifle sales. In fact, he claims that consumers are more than happy to pay extra to get their mitts on the more capacious device.
He says that of the potential customers he has surveyed, over a third would hand over that extra $100 for a chance to own the 5.5–inch iPhone 6.
Of course, that premium may end up being lower if you get the device on a hefty monthly contract.
