Huawei reveals TalkBand B2, TalkBand N1 headphones and Y635 and Y360 UK phones

Huawei has taken to Mobile World Congress with a second-generation edition of the fitness TalkBand B2, new TalkBand N1 headphones and a pair of entry-level mobile phones: the 4G Y635 and 3G Y360.

TalkBand B2 is a waterproof fitness tracker for the wrist, with a pop-out display that can be used as a Bluetooth earpiece. It's very similar to the original B1, but with some key additions.

The screen is now touch-operated, and it has a built-in gyroscope that can track motion along with your sleep patterns.

Last year’s B1 only tracked steps and calories burnt and was controlled by side buttons.

Boasting not unimpressive five-day battery life, the B2 offers a built-in microUSB port for fast charging (2.0) and a dual mic setup with noise cancellation.

It will arrive around August/September, costing under ÂŁ200, in black, gold and silver.

A leather version will carry an IP55 waterproof rating, while a plastic-strap version sports an IP57 rating.

Huawei's TalkBand N1 offers the same fitness tracking features of the B1, but is a Bluetooth stereo waterproof headset without a screen but with 4GB of built-in storage for music.

Both devices have companion Google Play and iOS apps.

Also debuted at the show are two new versions of the near-end-of-life Y550 and Y330 entry-level phones.

The 4G Y635 sports a larger 5-inch FWVGA screen, with an upgraded 1.2GHz Quad Core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, plus 32GB of expandable storage via microSD.

Set to come in at under ÂŁ150, it's home to a 5-megapixel rear camera, a two-megapixel front-facer and runs Android Lollipop.

The Y360 is a non-4G phone, with a 4-inch FWVGA display and Android Jelly Bean out of the box. Its other specs match the Y635.

Missing from Huawei’s line-up is the update to the 2014 flagship Ascend P7, but this is set to be unveiled in London on the 15th of April.
