Consumers in the UK are spending more time surfing the net at home thanks to the increased provision of broadband services.

Britain was found to have registered a gentle increase in figures with the average amount of time spent online at home in February at 11 hours 20 minutes.
This figure represents a year on year increase of eight per cent.
Broadband use had spurred on residential internet use in Hong Kong the most which moved up by a quarter to 21 hours and 53 minutes.
France and Italy also saw big increases unlike the US, which was the only country to have a fall in internet use.
